The project involved completing the renovation of a 210m² apartment located in a heritage building dating from 1606, in the heart of Geneva's Old Town.
The project included modernising the apartment while preserving as much of its original fabric as possible. The remarkably delicate 18th-century décor was meticulously restored and enhanced.
Beyond the desire to preserve the spirit of the place, the existing windows were restored and double glazed, and the original doors, partitions and floors were reused as part of a resolutely energy-efficient and sustainable approach.
A dressing room has been cleverly integrated into the heart of the apartment, creating a fluid connection between spaces and offering a flexibility to the use of various rooms.
The bathrooms and kitchen have been reconfigured to current standards, using contemporary materials that subtly echo the soul and history of the place.

The technical installations; heating, ventilation, plumbing, and electricity; have been completely renewed, while fire safety improvements and structural reinforcements on some floors and ceilings have been carried out to ensure compliance with current standards, while preserving the authenticity of the apartment through discreet integration.
