Located at the heart of Dietlikon Süd, an area undergoing profound change, the IKON project marks a major milestone in its future development. Driven by a shared vision among private stakeholders and the municipality, it is the first step in an ambitious urban transformation designed to enhance the appeal and profile of this strategic part of the Zurich metropolitan area.
At 50 metres high, the IKON tower will bring together retail, food and beverage, services, offices, serviced apartments and a hotel in a mixed-use programme. More than a building, the project aims to create a genuine place for living and interaction that can support the neighbourhood’s evolution and meet its users’ future needs.
From the outset, our approach has been guided by sustainable development and programmatic flexibility. The building is designed to anticipate changes in the market and patterns of use by providing spaces that can adapt over time, thereby safeguarding the long-term value of the investment and enabling the project to support the municipality’s future development.
Our urban planners, architects and visualisation specialists worked closely together to develop a coherent vision, from the earliest strategic thinking through to the definition of the project’s architectural identity. The result meets the area’s development ambitions while respecting the expectations of the local authorities.
At the Business Lunch organised by the Municipality of Dietlikon on 4 April 2026, CCHE and its client Q11 AG were invited to present this major development project to businesses and economic stakeholders in the region. The very positive response reflects the shared momentum and dynamism driving the municipality towards an ambitious, sustainable future.
The project is scheduled for completion around 2030. Once complete, the tower will not only provide Dietlikon with a new urban landmark but also symbolise a broader transformation that will reshape the Dietlikon Süd neighbourhood for years to come.
