The aim of this competition was to design the new headquarters for the Directorate-General for the Environment (DGE), bringing together its various departments on a single site.
As a symbol of unity, we chose a round shape. The central meeting space means that floor space can be distributed in an optimal way. The organisation of the floors means that people can move from public to private areas while optimising distances.
