Longemalle Parc

Renens

Simple and Flexible

Built on the foundations and structure of the former Kodak laboratory in Renens, the Longemalle Parc project is situated on an industrial site. This mixed-use building brings together a diverse range of occupants in a single volume, including an Aldi Suisse SA store, the new offices for the criminal justice system (Judicial Order, Public Prosecutor's Office, Cantonal Police), a secure holding area, the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Office, the Youth Protection Service, the DSI (Vaud Canton's Information Systems Department), the SFIVET (Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training), and a data center.

Absolute flexibility is paired with simple visitor flow management, featuring five separate elevator shafts that provide access to distinct zones within the building. The new complex has more than doubled in surface area, with 50m by 85m facades spanning seven levels, including the basements.

Two patios, one covered by a glass roof, cut through the heart of the building, ensuring maximum natural light penetrates the center of this large volume.
