Growing up in a cosmopolitan environment, Cornelia developed a curiosity and interest in cultural diversity. Outward-looking, she has always thrived on exchanges, encounters and shared emotions which are the driving force behind her daily activities.
Anxious to understand the impact of the environment on human well-being, she enjoys travelling the world to discover new natural and urban landscapes, as well as other cultures and world visions. To her, architecture represents a universal and timeless language that accompanies humankind in its daily quest to find ways better ways to live in harmony with the environment.
After obtaining a bilingual scientific baccalaureate (in German), she studied architecture at the Polytechnic Engineering School of Strasbourg (INSA Strasbourg) where she obtained her diploma at the end of 1998. From then on, she chose a career path that allowed her to deepen her knowledge and professional experience alongside passionate and exciting architects and project managers, from Tahiti to French-speaking Switzerland, via Germany, France, and her native Alsace.
The visions are diverse, the ways of working divergent, and the projects varied: it is from this wealth of experience that Cornelia has nurtured her ambition to maintain and develop her analytic and adaptive qualities and understanding of situations.
Since 2003, she has been working in large offices in Geneva and Vaud in the development and execution of various projects. After more than 7 years spent as a development project manager at CCHE Nyon SA, Cornélia became an associate at CCHE Genève SA at the beginning of 2021.

Interactions
Teamwork is at the heart of her daily work. It is a combination of skills and energy that allow projects to succeed. It is by working together that we develop our strengths.
She demonstrates sincere openness and an unassuming approach and takes pleasure in writing a bespoke and individual story for each project and client, whatever the scale and theme to be developed. Each project feeds her enthusiasm and allows her to move forward in a practical and steady manner, working closely with her teams as well as her partners, agents, and clients.

Renovations on occupied sites today represent a major energy challenge, but they are also a complex and intricate human adventure. Each intervention is unique and requires a perfect understanding of the existing building and the user. Respect, collaboration, and technical rigour are the keys to a smooth intervention.

Close collaboration with the client enabled the complete conversion of an industrial site into a multifunctional building. This was developed in several stages. The project includes office space for various tenants as well as a TV studio and an industrial hall.
From the in-depth study of the facades to the consideration of the new work concepts of the Vaud State employment services, and the collaboration with the industrial world as well as graphic artists and passionate craftsmen, the architectural work was varied and complete, but the greatest satisfaction always comes from the end user’s smile.
