A key step in ensuring the landscape quality and lasting success of the future “Q11- Les Chênes de Renens” neighbourhood
Before being planted on site, the trees for the future neighbourhood were selected at the nursery by our CCHE teams together with the landscape contractor responsible for the external works.
This stage allowed us to validate the quality, development and suitability of the selected trees, while confirming the choice of several oak species (Quercus ilex, Quercus castaneifolia, Quercus cerris, etc.) that will structure the neighbourhood’s future landscape. It also provided a valuable opportunity to discuss with the nursery which species are best suited to current and future climatic conditions.
Beyond design, this approach reflects the care our teams bring to every stage of the project, right down to selecting the plants that will shape the future neighbourhood’s landscape over the long term.
This selection and tagging day brought together our Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Architecture and Design teams, illustrating CCHE’s cross-disciplinary approach to project development.
