Located in a meadow in the village of Marly, this complex of seven buildings inspired by zero carbon principles is linked to the Place des Moulins, in the vicinity of the old school. These buildings, a total of 127 homes, are designed in a pentagonal and hexagonal manner, allowing a variety linked based on their direction. This diversity is accentuated by a materiality in relation to their natural environment which anchor these buildings to the historic site. The meadow at the foot of the seven buildings encourages social life while maintaining residents’ privacy. A common room in building F is available for residents to organise various events, such as birthdays or neighbourhood meetings. Built in the Ancienne Papeterie eco-neighbourhood, this project is SEED certified.
