Of Swedish origin, Marie Ståhl grew up by the sea on the west coast. She arrived in Switzerland in 1992 to study architecture at the EPFL and obtain her degree. In 1999, she began her career as an EPFL architect in the office Catella, Hauenstein, Ehrensperger SA where she was an intern.
From project manager in 2001 to director of coordination and planning in 2010, she has been partner of the Vallée de Joux office since July 2016. Marie Ståhl has extensive experience in working with international companies and in the management and supervision of conversion, expansion and new building projects.
President of the Young Economic Chamber of Lausanne in 2004, a local councillor in Bussigny from 2015 to 2017, Marie Ståhl is active within the CLC in La Vallée de Joux. Married and mother of a daughter, she enjoys spending time with her family and in the mountains.
