The Hive : a sustainable and circular model
Léman Bleu took an interest in innovative ideas that bring Meyrin residents together, particularly through The Hive Campus, a project initiated by HIAG.
In an interview, with project manager at CCHE Lausanne, Anaïs Racine sheds light CCHE's role as the architect when it comes to addressing the site's sustainability challenges.
The campus aims to transform a 50,000 m² site into a connected and accessible hub of activity, focused on people. Located in an industrial and artisan area, the site takes advantage of the existing vegetation to fulfill their vision of an “inhabited forest.” The site's entrance is marked by a plaza with mobility services, connecting the campus to its surroundings.
