Currently under construction, the Suettaz district in Nyon will have four new buildings in a green environment by 2027.
The future eco-neighbourhood, which complies with Minergie-P-ECO standards, will create pedestrian areas and avoid traffic. Play, meeting, leisure and walking areas will be distributed around the buildings and courtyards. The future homes will be spacious and comfortable, allowing tenants to enjoy all the modern comforts. The link between interior and outdoor space will also be encouraged, as each flat will have at least one balcony, loggia or terrace.
The construction project will be carried out in four successive phases so that tenants from the previous buildings can gradually move to the new. Great care has been taken by the owners to support and communicate with the tenants to minimise the impact of the works.
The ventilated facades of the B2 building have now been installed. Made of folded sheet metal, they give the Suettaz district its identity.
The building also has photovoltaic panels on the roof.
At the same time, this month marks the end of the structural work on building A1, which will now be ready for the exterior joinery and the start of the plastering.
On building B2, the teams are preparing the supports for the ventilated facade, waterproofing the roof and preparing the interior courtyard on the 1st floor. In the flats, the partitions and screeds are being installed.
At the same time, work is under way on the SS-2 and SS-1 basements in building A1.
