Winning project as part of a competition for the development of residential buildings on an exceptional plot of land in Chaulin with a peaceful and natural quality of life.
The location of the land, the views, the forest and the sunshine are our basic tools; the buildings on the steep slope without being in a void, our challenge.
Our response, which proposes two buildings, stems from the scale of the neighborhood and the possibility of positioning them on the slope with as much relation to the land as possible with private terraces for the tenants.
The position of the buildings in cross-section seeks a balance between the views of the flats and the impact of the buildings on the plot.
The car park benefits from natural light and views of the lake. It becomes the entrance space for the tenants.
The position of the flats and their relationship to the land gives the impression of being home alone.
The outdoor facilities in the back area in the forest for the children will be a place for families to exchange without disturbing those who choose the quiet.
Living in these flats means living in your own interior without any vis-à-vis, apart from the view of nature.

The vegetated slab of the car park connects to the existing forest to become the children's playground and the space for family exchanges.
The flats open out towards the lake, isolated from the public pathway, creating the desired privacy with no opposite.
