Starting in summer 2026, Perroy will welcome a new restaurant on the shores of Lake Geneva, developed by CCHE. This CHF 2.75 million project entails the complete renovation of the beach restaurant, the summer snack bar, and the fisherman's hut, a decade after the original establishment closed.
Approved by the Perroy Municipal Council, work on this ambitious project is set to begin in November 2025, following the issuance of the building permit. The future restaurant will seat 150 guests and feature a large terrace overlooking the lake. A self-service bar, open from March to October, will replace the current snack bar.
The entire site will be revitalized, featuring pétanque courts, renovated showers and restrooms, and a fisherman's hut repurposed for direct sales, for which a professional has already expressed interest. To promote soft mobility, parking for bicycles and motorcycles will be added without expanding the car park. The cantonal road will also be redeveloped between 2027 and 2030 to improve beach access.
According to Jean-Pierre Perdrizat, spokesperson for the technical committee, the project will create a convivial gathering place, deeply rooted in its environment and eagerly awaited by the community.
