La Begnaule is a construction project for a small residential building nestled in the heart of an ICOMOS garden. As part of a close collaboration between landscape architects and architects looking to enhance the site, CCHE designed a plan based on two fundamental principles: preserving the natural environment while allowing the building to be densified in the center of the plot.
In line with this development approach, the footprint of the construction site was also kept to a minimum. To achieve this, the crane was centrally positioned in the lift shaft. During the first phase of concreting, the crane was firmly fixed to the invert which will allow the floors to gradually be built around it.
